The new semi-trailer for Ducati engineers was designed and built with all the needs of the Borgo Panigale team in mind. A very spacious meeting room houses a fixed central table with 18 seats. In the center of the table are the connections that bring data and images to the screens located at the back of the room. On the sides, however, are individual workstations for about 20 operators. At the front is a second small meeting room and the team manager's offices in addition to that of the project manager. Inside, the facilities are highly sophisticated; about 2 km of high-performance cables transfer data between the various zones. A dual air-conditioning system ensures comfort while working. The hydraulic system for handling is controlled by a special program, a Touch Screen allows the operator to keep an eye on every operation and, through the dozens of sensors, report any anomalies.
